Serving in the private Health Sector I focused on Hip Arthroplasty, especially AMIS Hip Atrhroplasty which I perform as a certified surgeon since 2014. AMIS is a minimal invasive method introduced by Medacta. It offers lower surgical trauma and blood loss, fast track postoperative recovery and excellent long term function and longevity of the implants. During the last decade, following my special training in this method, I have operated on an increasing number of patients per year, having also performed a considerable number of simultaneous bilateral hip arthroplasty operations in selected patients. I have also performed a considerable number of AMIS operations using navigation assistance or custom – made implants, depending on the patient's indications. The Department I direct currently perfoms more than 200 major lower limb operations per year, 65% of them being AMIS cases

Area of specialization: Hip Arthroplasty
